Redcliffe Festival 2015 an experience like no other!

Redcliffe Festival, the biggest event celebration to hit the Moreton Bay Region is back in 2015 for two massive weeks from 29 August to 13 September, boasting a dynamic program of free and ticketed family-friendly events, international superstars, spectacular light art and vast array of musical entertainment; held across multiple sites activating the entire Redcliffe Peninsula.

In 2015 the event is growing again with a mix of popular events including the Redcliffe KiteFest, Redcliffe Remembers, Jetty Fiesta and Carnival Cruise, as well as introducing a brand new event Scarborough Sounds to celebrate Father’s Day 2015, PLUS welcoming back an old friend to the Peninsula – Barry Gibb returns to Redcliffe Festival for the Bee Gees Way Stage 2 – Grand Opening.

 Exciting! It's official, setup has started for KiteFest 2015!  IMPORTANT INFORMATION for parents. We take child safety very seriously at @redcliffefestival and as such we have these FREE child safety bands available over KiteFest weekend. HOW TO ACQUIRE A CHILD SAFETY BAND: Once you have paid entry at the Main Gate head to the Information Tent behind the Main Stage. Ask the staff for child safety bands. Redcliffe Festival will secure the bands to your child, with your name & phone number on the back of the band. WHAT HAPPENS IF MY CHILD DOES BECOME LOST & IS WEARING A SAFETY BAND A staff member at the Information Tent will use the information on the back of the band to contact you.  Street performers will bring Redcliffe Parade to life on Saturday, 12 September 2015 with Jetty Fiesta. Join the party!!!!!

That's the motto of the Redcliffe Kite Club, who was responsible for organising Redcliffe KiteFest for many years until it was decided to hand the Festival over to the Our Village Foundation in 2013 . Redcliffe KiteFest has won the Brisbane Regional Tourism Award 3 years in a row, was placed in the Brisbane Tourism Hall of Fame and won the MBRC Australia Day Award for 2013.
 Visit the ticket booth (located near the Karnival entry) to purchase your ride tickets for all rides located in KiteFest Karnival! All rides are $5 each or $25 for an ‘All Day Ride Pass’. (Please note: All day ride passes are not able to be purchased after 2pm). Rides include Super Sizzler, Two Up G-Force, Super Satellite, Tarantula, Zorb Balls, Mini Ferris Wheel, Pirate Train, Merry-Go-Round, Space Shuttles, Mini Bike Ride, Kids Zone Swinger, El Toro Loco Mechanical Bull, Tiki Island Inflatable Activity Centre and the Double Screamer Slide.
